Agreed! red clay isn't my favorite, and unfamiliar is well, unspeakable in my world. I'm looking at soil as the tutor to show me the way- :) thanks for the bloggy love- :) and that iris is breathtaking, can't wait to see your yard someday - IN BLOOM!
