(John Mark picking some strawberries from the yard for a b'fast treat)

It's berry picking time!! Which means it's jam making time!  These are in our very own yard.  But there aren't enough out there for jam, just a good amount for snacking.  So today we are off to a local insecticide free strawberry farm.  So later today you can find me in my kitchen, apron on (of course) stirring a hot pot of Strawberry goo into deliciousness to last all year long!!
It's going to be a WONDERFUL day!!!

Oh wow! Oh wow! How wonderful! I'm so jealous! I would love to have a garden! Oh wow! That is so exciting! My mom did a square foot garden at her house and it was so awesome! My Gramma has one too! They are great. Unfortunately, I do not have a green thumb and Nadja has killed everything we have put in HER backyard. Ah hem. So, we just have Publix. Atleast we have Publix! It could be worse! I could have to walk uphill both ways to the grocery store and not have any bags. So I am just going to have to be grateful with Publix. Rambling! Awesome job Rachel! Wow!

I picked my first strawberry from my upside down bucket last night. It was about the size of the tip of my pinky finger, but it is the first year, and the first berry... so I am hoping for more later. At least it tasted good! Yours look fabulous!
